Trash to Treasure
- Application is still open
- 5 people have been selected, 1 spot left
- Looking for contacts at shops/retailers/locations to put the kiosks in
Fox Den
- Spooky session has been expanded to be both October and November. The call for art is already out for that.
- November and December will have holiday shows so people can come have vendor tables/sell small artworks
- Thinking of doing a group show in February/March for the new interns
SWAP update (Approved!)
- Will now be called SWAP + Barter with a new logo designed by Lin
- The plan is to have it be easier to update and regulate
- Hosting an event to help with relaunch on November 19th at Solar Arts
- Every month a submission will be chosen to show in the newsletter as an advertisement for SWAP + Barter
- Lin will now be the coordinator of this
- Set up as first come first serve. We can send emails out with other options for people to choose from if they pick an already purchased item.
Frances will coordinate things between Mike/Solar Arts and any ACW members involved with Oct/Nov events
There will be a call for art to design a new website banner
The Art of Drag
- Happening on November 3rd 7-10pm at LUSH Lounge and Theater
- Confirming performers and vendors this week
- A few volunteers will be needed
- Send Barbara t-shirt order ASAP
Walter is looking for contacts at theaters and art venues for the Echoes of Tradition project
Caponi/Mill City
- Kelly is working with Cheryl Caponi
- The Stone Arch Bridge project will be project managed by Barbara
Inside ACW – Digital Winter Programming
- This is the new name for Kelly’s project
- Natalie suggests “Hibernate with ACW Digital Winter Programming”
- January 1st to March 15th
New member event on November 19th – Connecting this with the SWAP + Barter relaunch
