Biography
Katy Kelly Noun is a Painter and Ceramic Artist with a studio in the Carriage House of Casket Arts. Katy uses bees wax, resin and pigment to create a discourse on Water. As a part time resident of the beautiful North shore of Minnesota she is inspired by the energy of the greatest Lake Superior. Katy creates ceramic vessels and sculpture to represent the creatures and plants of our region. "As a sailor I spent many hours of my life staring at water, the wind movement and weather conditions. I have seen great change in the climate in the past 20 years. I use my Art to inspire connection over the beauty of nature, and create conversation about solutions for climate change."
