Kira Bass is a 23-year-old entrepreneurial artist from Atlanta, Georgia now based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is energetic, socially engaged, and has interests in language learning, community building, and visual arts.
After working her first job as a caricature artist at the amusement park Six Flags for three consecutive summers, she began her entrepreneurial journey in 2018 providing live caricature services at private parties, corporate events, and outdoor festivals. In 2021, she expanded her services to include mural painting for businesses and residential properties in her local community, ultimately expanding her reach to other states and even internationally.
Through this work, Kira has utilized her experience in community engagement and entertainment to promote community activism through live artistic entertainment. Today, Kira has the goals of collecting more experiences, meeting new artists, and learning more languages to continue to activate and unify more communities worldwide. In 2024, she will be installing murals in Morganton, NC, Minneapolis, MN and even Queensland, Australia with themes representing community identity, culture, and social issues. Stay tuned!
