Maker Space Project

Art to Change the World has been contacted to create a Maker Space (art room) in several venues,  including Transformational Housing for Women who have experienced homelessness and youth programs at the YMCA.

Join this Project if you really want to demonstrate how Art Can Change the World!

• Be an active member of ACW (membership paid).
• Participate in the organizing of onsite Makers Spaces.
• Attend a 2-hour orientation with a licensed trauma counselor.  You develop a lesson that helps reduce stress from trauma and earn a certificate.  No fees for this.
• You will sell a work of art to each site from $100-$300 to be used to inspire and showcase the ACW teachers.
• Teach one class each month for two hours.  Compensation $200.  Supplies are paid for.  You create a supply list (up to $200).
