New Partnership

ACW is thrilled to announce a new partnership.  All ACW members will receive 25% off all framing and are invited to submit works to be included in a January 2025 Exhibition. Meet our newest ACW member  – Khanh Tran, Owner of the Dow Gallery!


A curator and master framer since 1996, combines the passion and drive to create a comfortable environment where art can thrive. He finds art to be a healing, mind-clearing vision, and takes pride in harmonious framing; he works with the artwork and owner to create finished pieces. He does what he loves to do: build relationships and collaboration on art projects and shows. A family man, Khanh comes from a great line of hard-working, grateful, creative problem-solvers. You will find Khanh Tran to be personable and skilled in the finest framing resources in the Twin Cities.

 

The Dow Project

Exhibition dates: January 6th to February 28th
Opening event: January 17th from 5-8pm

Art to Change the World has partnered with the Dow Art Gallery to create an experience about the Earth, climate change, and environmental impact. ACW’s interactive sculpture created from river trash called the Mississippi River Pearl will be on display during the My Earth Exhibition. Check out the Trash to Treasure Collection kiosk. Participate in workshops happening in February.

Mississippi River Pearl
The Pearl is an interactive sculpture that a group of 11 ACW members created together using trash collected from the Mississippi River. Come sit on the throne and take a selfie or open one of the 21 cabinet drawers to find a memento. Trash to Treasure Collection
Trash to Treasure is a portable series of artworks that uphold sustainable and social justice art themes. Check out the kiosk during the opening event to see some of the unique artworks from 6 different ACW artists. Learn more at: https://www.arttochangetheworld.org/trash-to-treasure-collection/

The Climate Team
The guest speaker for the opening event is Becca David. Becca is a leader of ACW’s Climate Action Affinity Group or the Climate Team. This group is focused on environmental impact and they meet to discuss climate change or participate in sustainability related activities.
