Climate

My name is Aubrey Paris, and I am a contracted Gender and Climate Policy Advisor in the Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues (S/GWI) at the U.S. Department of State. As part of our efforts to empower women, girls, and gender-diverse persons in combatting the climate crisis, S/GWI’s Innovation Station initiative is collaborating with writing studio Syllble on a project pairing women and non-binary creative writers and visual artists from several countries and U.S. states to jointly create stories related to climate challenges. Selected writers and artists will join the One Humanity Writing Collective, which already boasts writers from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Australia, and New Zealand.
