“We are What We Drink” A FREE Workshop/Experience with the Mississippi River Pearl (above)
Join us for a workshop that will explore the origins of our drinking water. Investigate Pearl’s 21 discovery drawers and participate in experiments and activities focused on water quality. No trash pick-up. This is a classroom experience.
The workshop includes a takeaway memory from the drawers, 4 discovery stations, and a chance to win a “Pearl” T-Shirt. Maximum Registration 10. Ages 8 and up. FREE but need to register. Post: Molly Jessup molly.jessup@mnhs.org

Mill City Stone Arch Bridge Project
June 17 Saturday. 11:00-4:00 Barbara Bridges and Pearl Artists with Activities
June 18 Sunday 12:00-3:00 Kelly Frankenberg and Pearl Artists with Activities
The Mississippi Watershed and Management Organization Stewardship Fund Community grant supported 10 people selected from the larger MWMO neighborhood population, to meet, collect trash along the Mississippi and participate in an immersive curriculum unit which was collaboratively developed.

June 17 Saturday 11:00-4:00 Barbara and others will invite people to experience Pearl.
We will have 1 table set up for our ACW and Pearl swag and 1 activity at a time. $50 for each presenter for an hour. Wini told me they had 2000 visitors last year. There will be a survey collection and a T-shirt prize. Please post me to sign up for a time(s).
