“Introducing Art to Change the World’s “SWAP and Barter!” ‘SWAP + Barter’ is an initiative started to explore the concept of bartering within our local community, through trading goods and services with other artists and community members. “SWAP + Barter” is a multi-faceted project, with opportunities for artists to trade in-person or online, for physical artistic goods, commissions, or services that those in our community may need a little extra help with. The first portion of this project was launched with our first in-person trading event at ACW’s New Member Party on November 19th! Our next steps include designing an online forum so that SWAPs can occur without the hassle of an in-person event, as well as continuing to post the “SWAP + Barter Bulletin” monthly in the ACW Newsletter! Keep an eye out at the start of Summer 2024 for our webpage launch!
